The SSI used a scale ranging from 1 to 10, whereas the SSRS and T-Sensory Scale used a scale ranging from 1 to 15. Hence, the SSI had higher reliability and lower inter-rater reliability than the SSRS and T-Sensory Scale. However, the effect sizes of the SSI versus the SSRS and T-Sensory Scale were not that different. This result was due to the fact that there was no evidence to suggest that the effects of the SSI on social and emotional skills were different from those of the SSRS or T-Sensory Scale over time.
